One minute I was hiking, the next — holding onto chains like my life (and ego) depended on it.

Cape Town’s trails really said, “Let’s spice things up,” and suddenly it felt less like a walk and more like an obstacle course designed by mountain goats.

This short video captures my borderline graceful, slightly panicked climb using the infamous rock chains. Spoiler alert: I didn’t fall… but my dignity hung by a link or two.
