I came to Table Mountain with a route in mind… but the mountain had other plans. 😄⛰️

Sometimes, the best moments are the ones you don’t plan for. A surprise detour led me to a clearing I’d never noticed before — birds singing, wind rustling through the fynbos, and not a single other soul in sight. Pure magic. 🌬️🌿

That’s the beauty of hiking in Cape Town — it’s not just about getting from A to B. It’s about staying open to what nature throws your way. A sudden ray of light. A curious dassie. A new friend on the trail. Or even just a new thought you didn’t know you needed.

So my advice? Pack your water, wear good shoes… and leave room for the unexpected.
