Why I Went Barefoot on Lion’s Head – Insane Journey to the Top! 🦶🌿
I took off my shoes—and took on a mountain.
This short video is the wild, windy, slightly ridiculous story of how I climbed Lion’s Head barefoot. No hiking boots. No grip. Just toes, trail dust, and an insane idea that maybe it would be fun to get grounded… literally.
Was it smart? Absolutely not.
Would I do it again? Ask my blisters.
Was the view worth every awkward step? 100%.
This is for the trail lovers, the thrill seekers, and the slightly unhinged nature nerds like me who believe connection starts with the earth under your feet.
📍 Location: Lion’s Head, Cape Town
🦶 Activity: Barefoot hike (aka nature’s pedicure)
