Cancellation Policy
At Muki Venture Hiking Tours, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our guiding schedule.
Guest Cancellations
- 7 days or more before the hike: Full refund
- 3 to 6 days before the hike: 50% refund
- Less than 72 hours before the hike: No refund
- No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund
Weather & Safety Cancellations
Your safety comes first. If we cancel the hike due to:
- dangerous weather
- poor visibility
- high winds
- heavy rain
- unsafe trail conditions
you will be offered:
- a full refund, or
- the option to reschedule to another available date
Late Arrivals
Guests who arrive too late for the scheduled start time may be treated as a no-show if the hike can no longer proceed safely or reasonably.
Route Changes
In some cases, weather, trail conditions, or safety concerns may require us to adjust the route or start time. If this happens, we will always communicate with you as early as possible.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 3 to 7 business days, depending on your payment method.
Private Bookings
For private hikes, your booking date and guide are reserved specifically for you, which is why late cancellations are non-refundable.
