As the sun rose above Cape Town's horizon, I met with Muki Venture at the designated starting point for our Skeleton Gorge hike. The Ascend:

Skeleton Gorge is a Table Mountain classic,It starts at the beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens, It’s an interesting, mostly shaded path that involves a series of ladders and wooden paths in order to make your way up Through its indigenous forest and crystal clear streams. It can be challenging, but the scenery is nice and the views are certainly rewarding. Daily guided tours offered by Muki Venture in Cape Town.

Vegetation At The Top

As we move across the top we are met with different vegetation with unique fynbos, streams and magnificent panoramic views of Cape Town and the surrounding mountain ranges till, Maclear’s Beacon, the highest point of the mountain, boasts views of Table Bay and Robben Island. We then take an easy flat walk towards Upper Cable

The Way Down Via Cable Car

The cable car down is a memorable experience as the car rotates allowing you to savour 360-degree views. Pick up and drop off service from your hotel and back is included for your convenience. NB: Be prepared to walk down via Platteklip Gorge should the cable not operational.
